What Charge+ covers
These are the component groups described in Warranty First’s current product information. Your supplied hybrid or electric booklet confirms the exact part list and conditions.
- Vehicle systems
- Listed charging, power-delivery and mechanical/electrical components.
- Battery and drive motors
- High-voltage battery and electric drive motors can be considered whether or not the manufacturer’s battery warranty remains active.
Battery responsibility and cover conditions
- The electric booklet defines excluded parts, battery-condition and degradation rules. Inclusion of a battery does not mean every loss of capacity is accepted.
The car advert shows the duration included with that vehicle. We confirm any available extension and its price before purchase.
How the plan works
Your individual plan schedule confirms the level, duration, start and end dates, any customer contribution and labour allowance. Warranty First assesses repair requests at its discretion under the supplied booklet and schedule. The plan is additional to your statutory consumer rights and does not replace or restrict them.
- Follow the servicing requirements in your plan and keep the service and repair invoices.
- Get Warranty First’s authorisation before repair work begins.
- You are responsible for any applicable customer contribution or shortfall beyond the agreed repair payment.
If your car develops a fault
- Report it promptly.
Contact us or Warranty First with your vehicle and plan details. Stop driving if continuing could worsen the fault or affect safety.
- Arrange the requested diagnosis.
Warranty First may ask for a garage report, service records, MOT details, proof of ownership or repair invoices.
- Wait for authorisation.
Do not start repair work until Warranty First has reviewed and agreed the request.
